A long back garden is transformed into a relaxed wildlife friendly garden complete with natural pond and designated wildflower planting pockets. A large curved patio joins a winding stone path down the garden, through planting beds, to a secluded garden pond. A stand of Silver Birch trees grow amongst light and airy wildflowers, with deck chairs nestled between them to enjoy the evening sun.

The Old Post Office

A small courtyard garden belonging to the old village post office was transformed from patchy lawn and sloped patio to a tiered garden of contained planting beds and dining area. A letter box style water feature was created to hark back to the history of the house and create a focal point at the end of the garden path, whilst up-cycling the Butler sink links to the rustic style of the garden. A light stone was used to open up the space and complement the red brick walls of the courtyard and house.

RIBA South Award 2018

We are thrilled to announce that Pheasants House, designed by Williams Griffiths Architects, has won the RIBA South Award 2018 and has been named as a finalist in the prestigious RIBA House of the Year Awards 2018! We have contributed to the landscaping of this stunning home, with the second stage of landscaping hoping to commence in 2019.

We cannot wait to watch the house on Channel 4 and find out the results!
