RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival 2019
Thrift Landscapes are pleased to announce that they will be exhibiting The Urban Pollinator Garden at RHS Hampton Court in July 2019, sponsored by Warner’s Gin and built by Conway Landscapes.
The garden will be a magnet for bees and other insects, whilst providing a place for people to relax and connect with nature, without the pressure of keeping bees themselves. Contemporary honeycomb shapes will feature in the sculptural habitat wall running the length of the garden, packed with twigs and branches, and hexagonal paving will boast bee-printed tiles to identify entrances to underground bumblebee nests. Bee bricks from Green & Blue will also feature in the wall providing homes for solitary bees.
The garden will be rehomed at Cransley Hospice in Kettering, Northamptonshire, for the benefit of the patients, visitors and hospice staff.
